Sensei Paul Longo and Sensei Tessa Nelson
provide quality instruction in the martial art form of Kempo, A
close-contact form of self-defense. Kempo is also considered an art form
of spiritual growth. The discipline promotes focus, awareness of your
surroundings, balance, confidence building and improved fitness. Kempo
classes at the studio benefit people of all ages, beginning with age 4.
Whether its self-defense, spirituality or fitness you wish to improve,

Pee Wee is for ages 4-6 yrs.
Children is for ages 7-14 yrs.
Children Upper Rank is by invitation only.
Adults is for ages 14 yrs and up.
MMA is not a ranking class.

Sensei Paul Longo,
Instructor and Partner, started studying Kempo in 1995 and
achieved the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt in 1998.
Sensei Paul achieved the rank of 2nd Degree Black
Belt in 2000 and the rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt in
2005 under Master Mark Carasone. Upon Master Carasone’s
retirement in 2005, Sensei Paul began training and continues to
train under Master Allan Young of
Chinese
Kempo Academy.
Sensei Paul achieved the rank of 4th Degree Black
Belt in 2008
Sensei Tessa Nelson,
Instructor and Partner, began studying Kempo in 2002. Sensei
Tess achieved the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt in
February of 2006 and the rank of 2nd Degree Black
Belt in November of 2007.
Today Sensei Tess is a 3rd degree and continues to train and teach Kempo
Karate.
Instructor Nicole Brochu, began studying Kempo in 1999 at age 5. Instructor Nicole achieved the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt in 2009.
Instructor Nicholas Plamer, has studied Kempo since 2001, and achieved the rank of 1st Degree Black Belt in 2009.
